Origin Story

A (literal) ground-up initiative from the heart

MentorsHub was founded by Dr Candice Chee, who came from a humble family, and was herself a late bloomer and average student. She learned to empower herself despite limited resources, building her consulting practice from scratch and eventually completing her doctorate in her 40s.

Early on, Dr Candice realised the value of mentorship in helping youth to realise their passion and purpose. She saw how youths grappled with the intense educational system in Singapore and often lost sight of their passion and direction.

She also saw how those from less privileged backgrounds, or who lacked resources, struggled on an uneven playing field. She established MentorsHub as a not-for-profit social cause in 2015 to inspire young people to live a life of purpose and significance.

Vision & Belief
Our Vision
To inspire a life of purpose & significance
Our Beliefs
Don't just be good, be great

We're purpose-built to help you uncover and nurture your potential. That's why we don't just provide mentorship. Strengths and life coaching also play a huge part in helping you develop your own direction.

You're worthy of more

We design our programmes to help you build capabilities, and increase your opportunities for social mobility. You decide how far you want to go.

Discover your purpose

Professional skills are cool, but knowing why you do what you do, and understanding how you create impact, is way better. Work life can be made more meaningful.

Why we do what we do
What makes MentorsHub different are our strong social mission, high quality mentors, holistic programmes and close-knitted community.

We are a social mentorship initiative managed by a team of PMEBTs, who get super psyched to level the playing field for young people starting out on their career paths (and what is arguably the rest of their lives). Many of us started out on uneven playing fields ourselves, and hope to help you avoid the detours or mistakes we made.
